Lake Ranch Gardens

Growing organic goodness to nourish body and soul.

On the land of Lake Ranch lies a special place called Lake Ranch Gardens—a working farm where organic, clean vegetables and greens are grown with care. Here, the soil is tended by hand, the plants are nurtured with patience, and everything harvested is meant to nourish both the guests who come for Saturday breakfast and the neighbors who take fresh produce home.

New Beginnings

A Garden of Hope

Lake Ranch Gardens is more than rows of plants; it is a picture of new beginnings and steady, patient growth. Every seed, every sprout, and every harvest is a reminder that life can be renewed and that good things take time. The farm is intentionally kept at a human scale, allowing everything to be cared for thoughtfully rather than rushed or industrialized.

From the first seeds pressed into the soil to the baskets of ripe vegetables carried up to the kitchen, Lake Ranch Gardens is a labor of love. The same hands that welcome guests to breakfast are the hands that water, weed, and harvest the garden. Each season brings its own beauty and bounty, and we see every harvest as a small miracle and a gift from God.

What We Grow

In the beds of Lake Ranch Gardens, you will find tender microgreens, rows of tomatoes soaking up the Florida sun, and bright orange carrots waiting beneath the soil. Alongside these, we grow a rotating variety of seasonal vegetables and herbs. Some are destined for the breakfast table, others for baskets and bags that neighbors carry home to their own kitchens.

  • •Microgreens with intense flavor and nutrition
  • •Tomatoes in different shapes and sizes, perfect for salads and breakfasts
  • •Carrots grown in rich, well-tended soil for sweetness and crunch
  • •A mix of seasonal vegetables and herbs throughout the year

Offerings change with the season—ask us what's fresh this week!

Farm to Table

From Field to Breakfast Table

One of the most beautiful parts of Lake Ranch Gardens is how closely it is connected to the Saturday breakfast at Lake Ranch. Much of what grows here ends up on the plates of guests, turning a simple meal into a true farm-to-table experience.

On Saturday mornings, the harvest from Lake Ranch Gardens finds its way directly into the kitchen. Microgreens might garnish your eggs, tomatoes may be sliced fresh for your plate, and carrots might appear in a side dish or baked into a homemade recipe. Knowing that the food on your table was grown just steps away adds a special kind of joy to every bite. It is our way of sharing the farm itself with you.

Produce for Sale

We are grateful to be able to share the harvest from Lake Ranch Gardens with our community. When you visit, you will often find baskets of fresh vegetables, bundles of greens, and containers of microgreens available for sale. Because everything is grown on a small scale and harvested by hand, quantities are limited and change with the season.

If there is something you especially love, ask us what will be coming out of the garden next—we are always happy to help you plan your next visit.

When you visit Lake Ranch, we invite you to take a gentle walk by Lake Ranch Gardens. Listen to the birds, feel the breeze, and notice the small details—the bees on the blossoms, the new leaves unfolding, the rich smell of the soil after it's been watered. For children and adults alike, seeing how food is grown can be both grounding and inspiring.

If you are curious about how we grow something, just ask; we love sharing what we've learned along the way.

Our Prayer

Hope in Every Harvest

Lake Ranch Gardens was named with intention. In every seed planted and every harvest gathered, we see a picture of hope—of new beginnings, quiet growth, and the faithfulness of God in the ordinary rhythms of life. Whether you come for breakfast, to buy vegetables, or simply to walk among the rows, our prayer is that you leave with a little more hope than you had when you arrived.
